Cleaning the drains in your home is not something that you usually add to your weekly chores or even your monthly ones. Pour Hot Water Down Your Drains 

Pouring boiling water down your drains often can help remove minor clogs in our drains. Sometimes your drains can clog with grease or oils, but they may clog further into your drain line if you aren't careful. You should never pour grease or oil into your drains to prevent clogs such as these, to begin with. Instead, drain the grease and oil into a container to be disposed of, or used later in your cooking. 

Pour Vinegar And Baking Soda In Your Drains

To help remove other types of clogs, you can use vinegar and baking soda in your drains. It can help clean out odors and other minor clogs from your drains. Sprinkle baking soda into the drain, then pour vinegar into the drain, and then place a washcloth over the drain opening. The vinegar and baking soda will react with one another and help clean the drain and remove odors.

Snake The Drain

Snake the drain with a plastic drain snake to remove hair from your shower or bathtub drains. Hair can accumulate in these drains and then cause a clog. You need to remove these types of clogs, and using a plastic snake often can help you do this. When these types of clogs accumulate too much, you can end up with a major clog in your drains that the plastic snake may not be able to remove when it's pushed into the drain too far. Snake your drain with a small plastic snake every couple of weeks, especially if you have very long hair or you lose hair often.
